The Property Management has the task of long-term managing, developing, and ensuring functional and sustainable environments for the operations of Region Gävleborg. The assignment encompasses the entire property life cycle, from strategic planning and development to operation, maintenance, and follow-up of Region Gävleborg's buildings, land, and facilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a BIM Coordinator, you will be part of a team working together on the administration and development of a comprehensive solution for our property information management. You will coordinate and manage the BIM process in construction projects, including model management, information flows, BIM methodology meetings, delivery specifications, and data environments. In your role, you will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders such as project managers, technical specialists, designers, and contractors.

As a BIM Coordinator, you will among other things:

• set frameworks for a construction project's information delivery, adapt design guidelines, concretize the project's delivery specifications, specify structure and content for model deliveries
• conduct reviews through coordination models, as well as prepare and lead BIM methodology meetings and joint review meetings
• review the amount of information in models and databases based on requirements in design guidelines and delivery specifications
• participate in the management's development of property information management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment, curiosity, and the desire to drive BIM development forward in the organization. You are willing to take your own initiatives and can make well-founded decisions based on relevant facts and available resources. You find it easy to collaborate, communicate well, and have the ability to convey messages tailored to the recipient. You are meticulous and attentive to details while also being able to see the bigger picture from a broader perspective. Furthermore, we see that you take responsibility for tasks and can prioritize and structure your work effectively.

In the role of BIM Coordinator, you should have:

• an engineering degree in construction or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
• at least 2 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator in construction projects
• experience working with design tools Revit and AutoCAD
• experience working with tools for model coordination, object information management, and document management with metadata
• good understanding of BIM processes and methods
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

If you have previous experience working with construction and civil engineering projects in the public sector, it is an advantage. Also, competence to work in MagiCAD is an advantage, but not a requirement.
